The mission of the Nantucket Shellfish Association is to preserve and protect Nantucket’s harbors, water quality, and shellfish resources.

The Nantucket Shellfish Association works collaboratively with organizations across the island addressing issues impacting the health and sustainability of our harbors. These programs are working to address issues impacting shellfish habitats, eelgrass decline, invasive species, and water quality.
